The humble beginnings of Seng Hup Auto Trading started in February 1991 by Mr Ong in a shophouse on Lorong Kilat, Upper Bukit Timah before moving to West Coast Car Mart in 1997.

Mr Ong only believed in one way of doing business – the honest way. He would only trade top quality , low mileage premium pre-owned cars at most authorized distributors and dealers back in the 90s and 00s.

The cars he bought were meticulously screened and checked for frame damages, salvage history and tampered mileages. These cars are then sent for exterior and interior refurbishments before putting them up for sale.

In March 2007, Mr Ong handed down the business to his son, Ryan, who then converted the previous sole proprietorship to a private limited company to today’s Seng Hup Auto Pte. Ltd. The business moved to the heart of the automotive belt, Leng Kee Road, in 2018. 

The values and business model remains the same after all these years, Seng Hup Auto continues to only deal with top quality, major accident-free and genuine mileage pre-owned cars – the honest way.
